The Quality of Government Care ... ... ... (they had a day and a half warning to prepare for this and did 'NOTHING') (kids had to sleep overnite in the schools and thousands stranded in cars overnite in sub-freezing temps, many running out of gas with no food, heat, or water) ... ... ... nice ... (of course, an intelligent person doesn't go around this time of year without an emergency pack, like a few granola bars, candy, blanket and never lets the fuel get below 1/2 a tank, jumper cables, etc., ever ...)
Thank God we moved a few weeks before this fiasco !!!

I spent 4 years in Colorado, have seen a 39" snow and -38 degrees ... and I agree, us Southerners don't have a clue as to handle this s..stuff ... ... ... Seems no-one understands the word 'traction' ... they speed up their spinning tires thinking it'll make them 'go' ... when the opposite will actually help ... and maintaining 'momentum', where possible, is crucial ... (farm life helped me here) ...

Canada is beautiful, .... but the warm weather doesn't last long enough for me, ... my first trip when I was about 8 ... I remember getting served vinegar with French Fries ... they thought I was nuts for wanting catsup, LOL ... 50+ years ago ...
I remember the gardens around the Niagara area were 'stunningly beautiful' ... ... ...
