If I put nothing in,  I get nothing out.

But....If I make an effort to contribute, I am rewarded tenfold.

A bit like putting a dollar in a slot machine, and getting ten dollars back, everytime.

It's a bit of a conundrum. We come to AA to get (help), and find the answer in giving (helping others), not receiving.

From my daily spiritual writings in the same focus " Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you. Peace Brother...smile
