Hi Im brian and new to the room, 

my sobriety date is Oct. 16th 2004 and i live in New Jersey, 

Ive checked out a few of the post posted here recently and thought Id like to join in on the discussions.

Hi Brian, I'm very happy that you found this AA Forum.  Even though I've been sober since 1/24/88, I just found this forum last year.  I hope you like it as much as I do, and get as much good out of it as I have.  The people here are a fine bunch of folks who are very kind, caring, and helpful.  You need not be afraid to open yourself up to them and share yourself with them.  They're just plain good people.  Have fun getting to know them.  Welcome!  Blessings, Mike D.
