MY 40 TH AA ANNIVERSARY OF CONTINUOUS SOBRIETY

40 Years of continuous sobriety this weekend...Had my last drink several hours before my first meeting of Alcoholics Anonomous...Jan 12th, 1974.

 

What I did with my sobriety can be best seen in part on my Face Book Page...Tomas Sailor.

 

"As Kevin Costner once said to me...Don't tell us about it Show us."

 

I'm very grateful for this new life given to me..to be of service to others... AS I UNDERSTAND IT"...That I found is the key...

Oh Tomas,

     We have the same anniversary!!!! (Mine was just 38 years later).  Thanks for sticking aroung, fighting the good fight and showing the rest of us that, one day at a time, we don't ever have to drink again!  Congrats!

I had thought that at 40 years you qualify as an old timer, but then I heard they've moved it out to 50 years!
