As I look back on this year, so many things have happened. Some for the good, and some for the very bad!! At the beginning of the year, I lost someone who was very dear to me. She showed me the kind of person that I really did want to spend the rest of my life with. Unfortunately, we were both 'sick' people at the time and just did not know it.

AA and the twelve steps have showed me so much, showed me that there is life after alcohol and that I can truly be happy with who and what I am. I want to personally thank everyone on this board. Finding this website truly was a god send and has really helped me through some sticky spots. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy, 'sober' New Year!!

God Bless

Likewise ST! A sober holiday season is so much better than all the ones I had when drinking. The first one was challenging but still better. Sounds like HP was active in your life this year.
