Good Morning, Pappy!!!

Haven't heard from you on here in a couple of days. Perhaps I missed something....just wondering how you are doing and how your move is going. Miss that smiling pic and those great and helpful posts of yours.

Don't want to sound "sappy" but miss you, Pappy!

Hope he is alright. He has me a bit spoiled by his daily postings as well as other posting and miss the guy when he's gone.

He's probably without internet while traveling, but he will check in as soon as he can. He'll be happy to know you're concerned about him. :)

Thanks nezyb. You are probably right. Sure he is very busy right now and I guess it is alright for Pappy to tend to other things in his life besides this board. :)

Just miss that big ole smile of his. It is kind of like my cup of coffee in the morning...get used to it and hard to get going without it. Think I am going through PPW ("Pappy Posting Withdrawals")

What a gift! Imagine, we Alcoholics who were once lonely, selfish, self-centered and on the brink of despair, actually having feelings today.  Good feelings for folks in our fellowship and elsewhere.  Missing them when we haven't heard from them.  Also, the one being missed actually has folks concerned and missing them.  What a turnaround from our past...........  Love it!  Love this post and miss Paps too!  Nice post BTY.  smile

Yes Mike...
I can remember sitting out on the porch many a day, well everyday, drinking my never ending wine and beer and although I really wished I was more concerned about others, I was too much into my own self pity to have much care for anyone besides myself. The alcohol had robbed me of any of that. What you said about "having feelings today" is truly a gift and a real blessing which I am grateful for. It is people like Pappy and you and your compassion for not only me but others on this board that keeps me loving this place and keeps me coming back for more.

Pappy has returned to the building, LOL ... Thanks everyone for the wonderful posts ... wow, what a feeling to actually be missed by someone, that's kinda new for me, as I'm sure some of you can identify with ...

Yep, a very ruff few days ... and it ain't over by a long shot ... we got moved in and we can't find a freak'n thing we need ... like shampoo and soap ... so we're buying a lot of stuff we know we got, but can't find, LOL ... just got internet hooked up late yesterday ... can't find my computer, so I'm using my laptop for now ...

I hope to catch up soon and get back to my regular postings ... guess y'all figured that out when I posted my 'daily's four at a time today, LOL

I Love you guys and I missed you too, more than you may know ... boy, it's great to be sober ... founds some meetings close by, need to get back to a regular schedule quickly ... I can tell my defenses are running low on batteries, LOL ...

God Bless you all,
Pappy
