Hello everyone! Im trying to find a person and the only way I can think of I have left is here. Its my uncle im looking for, who used to have something to do with the spike hostel in liverpool aswell as AA membership. His name is Terry but I dont want to put his surname. My search has led me here, but im not even sure this is an english based site. It lists the liverpool meetings but no way of contacting them individually. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get a bit further in my search as im not having much luck myself. I imagine he goes the spike or maghull meetings as they would be local to him. Any help would be appreciated!! Keep on keeping on!!
If those meetings you suspect he goes to are open meetings you can drop by and ask that fellowship for information. Keep and open mind especially around alcoholics. You never know what they will respond to or how. LOL
Oh man I guess I'm tired, ... when I read Alco's last message, in my mind i didn't pronounce faux right, it came out sounding like something else that Pinky would get upset with me if I told you ... still had to laugh at myself though ... (still trying to clean up my 'dirty' mind ... please bare with me, LOL)

I pronounced "faux" like "fox" and still do it. That's one of the fears I have about sharing, I incorrectly pronounce some words. I got teased for this in school, and also corrected some in my adult years....very embarrassing, and I have learned to laugh at myself about it to hide some of that. (Guess if I can't say them, shouldn't spray them).
Anyway, manx ste, I don't think pinkchip was being insensitive at all. I read on the internet on some alcoholic related site about the police looking for someone at an AA meeting, and they were unable to get anyone there to tell them about the person they were searching for, because "who we see and what we hear stays in here".
I believe there are sites where people searching for other people can post their name and ask for help in their search. I wish you good luck in locating your uncle. There are also other sites which you can find addresses/phone numbers for people. It would be great if he happened to come to this site and read your posting above.
