It's a beautiful day!!

At least here in my corner of the world, Portland Oregon. The rain has stopped, the sky is blue, the sun is shining!  It's still cold outside, but I don't care, just to see the sun again after about a month of rain seem like a miracle!

And, the husband is in the basement, leaving me alone.  My son in in his room studying with a friend.  My daughter is at the Boys & Girls Club until I pick her up at 6.  I have a couple hours of peace.

I've got the windows open, lots of fresh air, even if it's cold.  Good looking guys working on a construction project across the street (too young for me, but nice to look at!)

Time to work on my books I'm writing, and setting up work I can do from home so I don't have to work for crazy people anymore.

Hope everyone else is having a good day/evening/night!

Hi Michelle

Good to see you around here.  and it sounds like things are feeling better right now.  Good to hear you not sounding so frustrated.

Lots of good things, Sunshine, a good looking man to just admire.  We can too!  and your children sounds like they are happy kids, cannot ask for more than that, Right?

Thanks for you note last night.  Here's hoping the sun stays out, but just in case, here's another one to use.

Thanks for sharing some positive things.  I needed that. I tend to get depressed at times like this,,,  carried away in my stinking thinking and negativity, so overwhelmed by my problems that it seems the whole world is dark.

Think I'm going to go paint a little.

Amanda:  Wish I could help you paint, it's very therapeutic, just rollin up and down the walls is so stress-relieving.

And I wish the house I lived in just needed some spackle and paint, the electricity is just insane here, plug in a lamp and the power goes out

Good luck, get through another night! You can do it girl!
