Ok...so now I'm attempting to add 2 more letters to my credentials. Hopefully within a month it will be Pinkchip, LMHC, CAP. The CAP part is what I'm going for now. It is Certified Addictions Counselor. Something I thought would be hard to attain, but as it turns out, if you have the first license that I do (the LMHC), the CAP is drastically easier and you go through a process called L-CAP which is CAP through licensure. Basically, that means I didn't have to take any classes at all and now the exam is scheduled for Nov. 15th. This leaves me 1 month to study. This one is not as crucial as the LMHC licensure exam I took and passed a little over a year ago, but it will help since I'm working in the substance abuse field now.

Does drinking about a thousand cases of beer qualify a person as a CAP ??? ... (okay, hummmm, doing the math ... a case a day for approximately 13 years, hummmm, crap ... ... is that over 4,000 cases ? ...) ... ... LOL ... if it does, I need to go pick up my license ... and I don't need anyone putting a $ value to that, I don't need or want to know ... ... ...
Seriously PC, congrats, and also thanks for all you do here on this board ...

Such silly facts to remember....Benjamin Franklin died addicted to Laudinum. Um...WTF is laudinum? Distilling was introduced in the 1600s by the dutch. Phenobarbital is an example of: A barbituate (who takes barbituates anymore? ask me about mollies and stuff).

Wow! This will give you the opportunity to give many opportunities to many people! Don't worry, you'll get the creds you need to help those who need you. Blessings, Mike D.
