I've heard it said that the triangle used in AA's symbol represents the three part answer to our three part disease...Mental, Physical and Spiritual.
Recovery...The steps.....The solution. Unity...The fellowship. Service...Carrying this message to the alcoholic...And all that falls under that.
The tremendous fact for every one of us is that we have discovered a common solution. We have a way out on which we can absolutely agree, and upon which we can join in brotherly and harmonious action. This is the great news this book carries to those who suffer from alcoholism.

One place you can find all three together is at AA meetings....Maybe that's why I like to go to them. Thanks for the topic gonee.

Recovery is 1st for me. The number one offender is resentment. I ask God to remove all resentment from me every single day. Once that is accomplished and I am resentment free. I move on to Unity.
Unity is 2nd for me. Those things in AA that cause disunity I gently try to help remove, mostly by example. If an issue cannot be resolved in my group, I work on it through guidance from a Higher Power and the answers come, if my own house is in order. I use the traditions, especially Tradition 2: " For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority - a loving God as He may express Himself in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants; they do not govern."
Service is 3rd for me. My service begins with group. I help in duties which I can do consistently and diligently. I do it mostly to repay my debt.
Thanks all. I hope that you can add your views also..
