This time the grapevine let me know they are going to publish another one of my posts from here at MIP.  It was from about 2 yrs ago - when I first came to MIP and drank again after about a month. 

 

It's going to say "my recent relapse" in one of the paragraphs, now mind you - this will be 2 years old.  I did not relapse.

 

It will be funny - because lots of people in this area saw my last post -a nd people I didn't even know who apparently knew me, said they saw my last article!  Everyone is going to think I relapsed and this will be a great lesson in humility for me I guess!! LOL

when i was one year sober, the 2nd time, the local news publication, and i use that term loosely, printed my arrest from the year before..... talk about humiliation. it was bad enough the first time, but reprinting it on my 1 year anniversary??? i walked into their office and asked about it. evidentallly someone was not used to the "brand new years" new number and called up the last years arrests. but the paper passed it off as the police records personell mistake. anyway, i lived through it and did not take a drink over it.
