Idiots, ... ... ... they at least could have described the kids experiment in a technical, scientific way so as not to create such a controversy ... they didn't have to call it 'Brewing Beer' ... that's all we need, a kid getting drunk while looking down at the earth spinning around ... gives a whole new meaning to getting 'blitzed' ... ... ...

I thought NASA was supposed to be the best minds around ? ... if this story is true, then I think they have been infiltrated by dumbasses ... LOL

Realign the thought Jerry ??? ... you can't FIX stupid ...(I've tried)

I didn't find where they will be sending the boy into space. I read that he brewed a beer in his classroom and he thinks it will have more medical value brewed in space and they are going to try that. Where did you find the info, (if you are allowed to post that on this board)? In my state it is illegal for anyone under 21 to possess alcohol. I question the parents and teacher for allowing this. Hope he doesn't give his "secret recipe" out to other students. How confusing a message these kids will be receiving from this..."Don't drink alcohol, but it's okay if you brew it".

The presentation seemed that the boy would be sent into space to do this project and I have been further informed that the experiment will be sent.  The idea is that beer has been and can be hydration replacement when water is contaminated....Hmmmm a classic reaction of mine hitting me right in the middle of past experiences I was involved in.  Still working on it.   Beer has been around as a hydrator for a lot longer than this 11 year old and much more money spent on brewing techniques by larger entities.  The report in part said "very low alcohol" which should be understood as alcohol actually creates thrist.  Apologies for my reactions.  smile

Hmmm...Maybe that's why I drank so much of it for so long?
