by Joani Gammill. My wife just gave me my early birthday presents one of which is this book. Joani Gammill is one of us and for the first 15 pages she spoke from inside of me. Her voice coming from my memories which are accompanied with the emotions of walking thru our disease of addiction. I won't quote it and will just say for now that if you haven't got it or read it...give it a shot. Everytime I get to feel that desperation all over again and with renewed strength, I know I have a chance. I also got a Higher Power chip with one of our favorite spiritual slogans on the back. "If God brings you to it, God will bring you thru it". Yeah...that one is fresh in my memories also. (((hugs)))
Thanks Jerry, ... the book sounds interesting ... think I'll copy/paste this to myself so I can get it after the move ... or after things settle down long enough for me to relax ... LOL
