Two years...two amazing, challenging, awesome, soulful, enlightening years sober.
I am still as tickled pink as I was when I picked up a one month chip, still as grateful and hopeful, but much less fearful. It's been quite the journey to get here. This past year has brought some sad good-byes but it has also brought some very joyful hellos.
I am just as in love with AA as ever. I still keep my nose in the Big Book and my tushie in the chair. My home group is my family and my Higher Power is a loving Father I can turn to no matter what. I am so thankful for this forum too. I don't post here all that much but I read most every word and take the best along with me as I trudge the road of happy destiny.
Thanks for being a valuable part of my sobriety! :)

Congrats Vixen! I always enjoy your post. Glad to see your still visiting us. You're a powerful example of how The Program can work. Keep coming back and posting when you can.
A BIG Congrats to you Vixen, ... ... ... NOW it's time to go to work, LOL ... it was right about the 2 year mark for me when I realized I did, in fact, have something to give back ... and that started me on another sober journey ... thanks for sharing this with us ...
Love ya and God Bless, Pappy

Thank you all so very much. It was a really special day and then last night I was able to speak at a local meeting and share my experience, strength and hope with others. I love how this program works and I love being a part of MIP. :)
