Meh - lots of things are impossible. Who makes this stuff up? One of the first steps in sobriety is to smash the idea that we alcoholics can ever drink again with impunity. It's utterly impossible for us to become social drinkers. As far as resolving to succeed, I'm totally on board with that!

My 1st thought was that one can truly succeed to stay sober if they'll work a recovery program ... as far as the nothing being impossible, I saw this as, is that if one were to apply themselves to become 'spiritually conscious', then nothing is impossible, even getting sober to start with ... which at one time in my life, I was convinced was impossible ... about being able to drink like a 'normal' person again, nope, that doesn't fit into the 'common sense' thingy once a person has a 'spiritual awakening' ... once a person gets rid of any desire to drink, then the point here is mute ... just the way I see it ...

Yeah, don't mind me today, Pappy. I'm cranky. I really need the kids to go back to school. I'm tired of being a policeman all day, and I've resigned myself to the fact that it's impossible to make them get along. 11 days...

LMAO Q, ... ... ... I don't have that problem but I DO remember the times I did ... (kids around here started back last week, I got 3 different buses that come down our 'dead end' street ... seems like a waste to me, but then I'm old and cranky too ... LOL) ...
