I just got some fantastic news yesterday and wanted to share...
I got a letter in the mail yesterday that my unemployment benefits are being cut off AND we were denied for the loan we applied for to tide us over till my SSDI approval.
This is my HP's ride that I am on and so, it has a happy ending - it's just that the pieces don't look like they fit from my myopic view. I'm excited to see how this turns out. Stay tuned for a miracle.
Give me some of that faith, bro! I'm also in an unexpected bind through no fault of my own. The ship is sinking, and I ain't got a bucket to bail it out.

You're connected Angell...I smile and laugh with your faith as I have also had these experiences and then acknowledge that God will do for us what we cannot do for ourselves. Thanks for the push...I know it is true what some say that "when the student is ready...the teacher arrives." Mahalo.
I'm afraid we're going to be short on anticipation with this story: The loan officer called at 7:30am this morning and apologized; apparently they found a simple math error and the loan has now been approved. Now, it's a small loan, and my higher power knows that we'll need a little more help this month and so, I'll continue to watch the plan unfold and fill you in as it does. This was a strange fix though, usually my higher power waits till the last moment... ah well, many more chances for that. :)
Sounds like HP is using the steps Angell. You don't get it all you get the part you don't have to do...you have to do your part. Course you already know that...sorry. My responses to these nudges from HP and HP's tools is "Thank You"!! The attitude of Gratitude. Keep coming back.

Okay, here it is: Our original loan was for $800. We had paid $400 of the loan off and were trying to re-finance hoping to get $400. We submitted a letter explaining the temporary nature of our situation, asking for $400 but, if it would be at all possible, $600 would be better. As I mentioned in the original post, our loan was declined and then we were called the next morning tosay that they had made a math error and it would be approved. We went in to get the check today... they gave us the $600 AND the $400 for a total of $1000. Payment stayed the same. Problem solved. Thanks HP.
Wow, what a fabulous outlook. I've been a bit plagued lately with "high classed problems", this really puts them in perspective. Thanks and prayers for
whatever HP's intentions are for you Angell. Glad to see you posting btw.
