At this time 27yrs ago , I was having my last drinks .

When I wake up in the morning , I will be 27 years sober .

THANK You Everybody who was a Pain in the Ass , as you

made me work the hardest . Thank You to those who would not

put up with my PMS (putting up with my s...) That made me grow too .

THANK YOU Everybody who has in some way contributed to my Sobriety.

Thank You "cyber brethran" yes a Lot of "One day at a time"

I was Very much reminded Again last night , my son is in a Rock band .

It still amazes me , to see quite "normal" people start a night out , and be

a bit shy & not get up & dance , after 3hr of 'rock' music , they think

they're a singer in a rock band or young ladies 'flaunting' themselves at the

lead guitarist . Who is only 17 , that's why I'm there . I'm his dad . And Yes

it is fun being a 64y old 'roadie' , I have not missed one of they're gigs & between

his 'mom'(yes she is a Yank) & me we have been Sam's taxi for every band practice .

Again MIP'rs Thank YOU for All those One DAY at a time"

Today I am 27yrs older & 24 bonus yrs , as I promised myself .

I Would drink myself to death before I turned 40.

Aloha Rick and congradulations on another day; another year.  I'm so amazed how our disease haunts us with no respect for the "time" we have accumulated and still looking for cracks in the wall to come thru.   Keep working it and passing it on.  smile
