"Many ask 'What is anonymity?' and 'What is humility?' To me, they are almost the same thing. They are devoid of prestige; they demand nothing; they don't ask to be 'right'; they simply suggest that the icy egocentric elements in all of us retire into the background and that we wear the warm cloak of anonymity and humility and therefore, spirituality."

According to the Good Book, the greatest gift you can give is that when you do something for someone else for their good, anonymously!!! ... When we don't seek 'credit' for this act of kindness, then we are expressing our humility before God ... and this very type of action is one of the hardest things in my life to do ... because in the past, I have always wanted the recognition and credit from others for my good acts ... I now understand this is not what true 'love' and 'humility' are about ...
