Hi everyone,

My name is Mike and I'm an alcoholic in Boston.  Thanks for the welcome back on the other thread Amanda.  I visit here occsasionally and had saved the site on my favorites list, but i spilled water on my laptop and shorted it out.  I've gotten back online regularly now and hope to continue to use and contribute to this site.  I'm sober, happy, with a wonderful wife and daughter.  I used to post under a different name, but switched to sheilasdad. Guess what my 18 month old daughter's name is?

Anyway... it's cold and snowy/rainy.. the Patriots lost... but I've got two days off ahead of me... my birthday is Tuesday... my AA birthday (10 years!!) is Friday... and life is good.  hope to talk more soon. Mike in Boston

Glad you are here Mike!  Look forward to sharing with you!  Take every opportunity you get to enjoy that sweet little girl!  I have 3 y/o twins and wish I could freeze this age... of course I said that at 6 months, 1 year, 2 years... you get the picture.  Angels... oh to have the innocence of a child and an awe of everything! It is a real blessing.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the welcomes.  It feels good.  Also, ZuZu, I'm getting to know what you mean.  Each age Sheila gets to seems like the perfect one.  I'm loving being a dad.  We're going out in a little bit to go shopping and then it's hanging in all day.  It's a holiday here in Massachusetts.  Life is good.  Mike in Boston
