Good luck at your new city. I believe that you will find a new home group soon. Thanks for the share, being comfortable at regular meetings is something I need to be reminded of.....see you around here!!

Hi all,

I've recently moved, so I haven't been around the site as much. I hope to rectify that!

I'd love to hear some ESH about moving to a new city and discovering new meetings. I didn't realize how comfortable I'd gotten in my regular meetings in my old city. I've been trying out lots of different meetings here and just haven't found one that seems 100% yet. At some of them people share from a podium with a microphone! I had not experienced that before!

I haven't moved since getting into AA Ruby....But I love trying meetings in different places. One thing remains the same...We all share the same problem and all have a common solution....Keep showing up....I'm sure you'll be feeling at home soon. And don't be a stranger here.

Hi Ruby,

You'll get there. Just keep an open mind. In my experience every meetingplace is different, so I know when I travel that while it's not the same as home, I'm still home, if you get me.

I hope you are enjoying your new surrounds.
