"Lord manage my life because, I can't manage it myself." I read this in a book the other day.

I didn't have any problem admitting that my life had become unmanageable. I had gotten evicted, my car was repossessed, I lost my job, most of my friends, and all I could think about was that next flask of vodka.

One of the promises of sobriety is that we will intuitively know how to deal with situations that used to baffle us, and that promise has come true for me. Today, by the Grace of God, the 12 Steps, and the Fellowship of AA, the bills are paid. I have a beautiful home, a not-so beautiful car (lol - but it gets from point A to point B), a great job, well-fed and clothed children, etc.

God did for me what I could not do for myself.
