Someone the other day described me as 'fun'. I was so worried when I stopped drinking that I wouldn't be any fun anymore. What I've realized is that when I was drinking I was fun at parties (until the moment when I was a gong show), now I am fun the rest of the time. Freedom, right? Have a good 24, all!

Yeah, I was a lot of fun when I was drinking, lol. Pffft. Actually, I was a jackass.

Yesterday we took the kids to a Native American museum, then went hiking along some trails that took us to a lovely grotto with a waterfall. The day was full of laughter and fun, and throughout the day, I felt the serenity that can only come from being sober.

The truth is, I didn't know what fun was when I was a drunk.

A person can have fun anytime they want to, as long as they enjoy who they're with when they're alone ... ... ...
