I'm reading Luther Blissett's novel Q right now.

Would you by any chance be a 16 century papal spy?

I won't hold it against you. I promise.

:)

Welcome.

Heh...no. My name is John and I'm an alcoholic.

"Q" refers to the character on Star Trek Next Generation, who has an extremely high opinion of himself because he possesses some special powers. But that's not the reason I chose the handle. Q is constantly being humbled by mere humans - despite his gifts, he keeps falling flat on his a.s.s. when his megalomania takes over, lol.

He reminds me of myself as a drinking alcoholic.
