Weekly Quote

Let your love grow as God wants it to grow. Seek goodness in others. Love more persons more. Love them more impersonally, more unselfishly, without thought of return. The return, never fear, will take care of itself. -Henry Drummond
Weekly Thought

Have you ever noticed that we tend to be at our very bestcharming, kind, consideratewith casual acquaintances and even complete strangers? And then we act our absolute worstrude, impatient, moody, ungratefulwith those who are closest to us, our family? We fall into the trap of taking for granted those who love us the most.

The good news is that it doesn't have to be that way! In fact, there are two simple steps that will cure the majority of family conflictsand make any family stronger.

The first step is cultivating a spirit of gratitude. When was the last time you felt thankful for the people living in your homeand said thank you? The second step is simply demonstrating your love. How can you show those in your home through actions that you truly love them? The Apostle James said that faith without works is dead (James 2:17), and in the same way love without actions is empty.

Relationships are among the best of God's gifts to us. We can be good stewards of those gifts by practicing love toward those closest to us.

Heavenly Father, thank You for my family. Help me to express the love I truly have for them. Amen.

Welcome to MIP Mark, ... Sorry, somehow, I missed your coming aboard here ... glad you found us ...

I agree with you but I would add that success must include 'spiritual guidance' else its value will be limited and 'short lived' ... ... ...

Love ya man and God Bless,
Pappy

P.S.   I would also add that I firmly believe what the great Zig Ziglar taught ... "You will get everything in life you desire as long as you help enough other people get what they want."
