Im brand new here joined 5 minutes ago and this topic caught my eye. Im 24 and m an alcoholic. Ive lost my wife, my job and am on the verge of losng my children to this disease. Ive been to the AA meetings for several years being court ordered and like they always said in the meetings, if you come here only court ordered you will return on your own. So this is kind of my return on my own and would relly appreciate some guidance. If any one would be interested in contacting me I am available at brandon_burton@att.net. I believe if some one is willing to maybe to contact me it might be good. I really would love some one with experience to contact me. I know I cant do this alone.

Welcome to MIP Brandon, ... glad you're here ...

Most the time, court ordered AA attendees are just there to get their paper signed off on ... BUT, I do know of a couple cases where in the process of satisfying the court, they stuck around cause they identified with having a problem and stuck around for the solution ... rare, yes, but it happens ...

We have a PM (Private Message) system here that you may want to use ... in addition to or instead of doing the email thingy ... just thought you ought to know ...

I will PM you so you can get the feel for it ...

Stick around man ... miracles do happen here ...

Love ya and God Bless,
Pappy
