It's so bad this year! If it doesn't stop snowing soon people will be jumping off bridges. Ridiculous.

What's that ??? ... ... ... just kidding, I served my military duty in Colorado ... when we went sledding it was off the side of a mountain ... giant tractor 'inner tube' ... lost my tube one time when I was about 10 feet up in the air after a jump ... fell and broke my cocax bone ... in other words, my ass ...

Guess I'm too old for that non-sense now ... LOL ... in fact, I was about 20 when I busted my ass that one time ... I'm 60 now and I don't remember EVER sledding again ... I love to watch the kids do such things, but it's not for me anymore ...

Some reason I just knew that going off that mountain side was not a good idea ... reminds me of the 'redneck' that I really am ... you know, the one that says ...

HEY YALL, WATCH THIS! ... just before you 'bout kill yourself ... problem was, I was a teacher at that time (instructor) in the military ... I had taken my students to this mountain side where other idiots came to sled ... I was showing them how it was done ... LOL ... half us return to the 'base' limping and looking like we had just done battle on the battlefield ... ... ... it really was a blast before I lost my inner tube on that one run ... I'm here to tell you, packed down snow is HARD as a rock ...

Another white morning : ( How many inches did you get last night Christine? I saw schools were closing that direction. We have the school play today so Max was actually disappointed when he saw all the snow... for once he DIDN'T want school to be closed. Secretly... I did : ) I just want to crawl under the covers and never get out until it's actually spring!

I don't know how much snow we have but it's too much! We need a little sun.

I'm hoping 4th of July will be nice at this point.

Well folks I'm somewhere in the middle of that snow and 90 degrees. We are FLOODED!! It rained Weds. night not a whole lot at my house. Further north in the state they got pounded!!! Thurs. morning I checked out NOAA when I got up. UGH.....I was going to be driving to work right in the path of it. (You know how, we are taught to rely on HP.....well I said a little prayer asking God to surround my car and get me to work safely.) I'm 45 mis south of work. The last 7 it began to pour and didn't let up until around 7:30 that evening. I'm talking continuous downpours. No fool like an old one.....I made an attempt to go my usual route cutting through the country coming home. BIG mistake!!! Had to go through water 4 different places including on the road I live. (Note: Both ends of the mile I live on flood...so as far as that goes I would've had to go through some) One road the little bridge was cover!! And no I didn't try it. We prayed and prayed for rain to relieve the drought of the last few summers. Prayers ARE answered! lol This morning I drove the interstate!!! (My kids would be so proud......Momma found the accelarator and 75mph all the way to the city. Little did they know that was merely a survival tactic to keep from getting run over. lol) And Dean you CAN HAVE the snow!!! I DO NOT LIKE winter!!!
