Back now. All is well but with limited time and many calls on it, somethings tend to slip down the priority order.
Just for reassurance tho', continued sobriety and AA fellowship is always there in some way, shape or form. I've kept my meetings up, tho' sometimes it's been only 2 a week. Fortunately up here it's accepted that some people can only do half a meeting - which isn't great but is better than nowt.
I'm still in frequent contact with my sponsor, bless him, but travelling and work commitments have gone through the roof during march and early april, with no sign of it easing up.
So it's important for me to preserve some me time. This is the time I spend on here, spend doing ther things that I likeSo if I'm going to fit in motorbikes, guitars, pushies (yes I've bought a pushie, to help me with my fitness levels, got all the lycra too!) and spending time with the womanfriend, family time, fishing, DIY etc, then something has to give.
Going back to the pushie tho' I've got rather obsessive about it. It's good to go to meetings on, went last night to Killie Hospital meeting - a 15 mile round trip, really enjoyed it. I'm seriously considering going to work on it tomorrow, drive to the suburbs and cycle in the last 6 miles - mind you, city centre cycling is a bit of a challenge isn't it. When I got it 3 weeks ago I was blown after 2 miles, couldn't get up hills etc. Now I find that 7 or 8 miles in 40 minutes is a relative breeze, lplus as a driver I give cyclists much more room thee days. Three weeks from wobbly old man to watch out Bradley Wiggins!
Does anyone else find that a new pastime get's taken up obsessively? I think it's in this alkies make up.
Well now it's near on 5 pm, time for my herbalife shake - yes I'm on a weight loss programme too, have stopped smoking (again!!!) - and I need to prepare for tomorrow's annual performance review.
Yours, in fellowship,
Oh forgot to mention that I've taken to shaving with a double edge razor again - nice close shave, but it takes me twenty minutes.....and I've bought a straight razor, use it twice a week and I'm down to 2 shaving nicks per shave - I will master this!

I was just thinking about you and wondering when we'd hear from you again. Great share and glad you are dong well.
I also cannot do anything in moderation. I work out, work, engage in hobbies...eat...I do it all obsessively. I am hoping balance will come eventually. My sponsor assures me it is part of our alkie make up but that it tames out some.
