Okay, this one is for Mr. David, ... ... ...

Before going to Nashville about 3 weeks ago, Adam and Tasha talked me into and through making a good healthy 'smoothie' ... ... ... Adam said to add Spirulina or some gawd awful looking green powder to the smoothie for reasons I can't remember, Tasha gave me a lesson on pro-biotics, bionics, anti-biotics or something like that ... ... ... SO, I start making these smoothies and guess what???, they ain't too bad, even with Adam's green sh!t in it ... ... ... SO, I start to venture out a little and try different fruit and vegetable combinations ... still, not bad, weird tasting sometimes, but not bad ... I even put 'kale' in many of them ... that and the Spirulina made them 'greener' than all get outs ... STILL, not bad ...

Okay, I go to Nashville, blender stored safely away for the trip ... sometime after arriving and looking on the computer for recipes, I learned about putting frozen bananas in them to make them creamier AND colder ... (I never thought they were cold enough) ... ... ... SO, I FROZE some bananas ... WELL, nobody wrote or said anything about you should peel the damn things first ... SO, I wound up with a mess ... ... ... THEN, I decided to peel the bananas first, bag them in plastic bags then freeze them ... This worked out great but nearly burnt my dang blender up ... it smelled like an electrical fire when I made my smoothies ...

Okay, now I graduated to fresh strawberries ... and heck with the 'green stuff' ... even added honey, ummmm ... now we're getting there ... ... ... The kid rolls in in his wheelchair and makes the comment, damn, I bet that thing would make a good milk-shake ... I pondered this idea and said, you ain't as dumb as you look, lets give it a try ... SO, I run down to the store and grabs some vanilla "Ice Cream" and a bottle of Hersey's Chocolate syrup ... oh, and of course some Half-n-Half ... I get back and make us a giant chocolate milk-shake and it was fantastic ... the kid asked for another the next nite, ... and the next ... and the next ... you see where this is going ...

SO, I confess to Adam and Tasha, they have a great health idea with this thing, BUT, I got side-tracked ... ... ... Now I got to have a milk-shake every day ... Ha, I don't eat the "Ice Cream" in a bowl now ... I chug it down in the form of a milk-shake ... oh wow, it's about that time ... 'scuse me ...

Too funny! When I want a milkshake, I justify it as healthy by adding blueberries, strawberries and bananas- the milk and ice cream are always organic as well as the fruit.... So it's totally fine for ya:)
