Thank you all for your replies regarding my grandmother. She pasted last week. Toughest days of my sobriety yet, and i managed very well. Deep breathing, relaxation, and inventory got me through.
So on a lighter note!
So, working towards a year sober, I know, one day at a time, but I now am 100 percent debt free, have money in the bank, and just booked a fmilt trip to Disney. Also, went to the Dr for my annual. She knew my story, and pleasntly, she can see the results of my stopped drinking and smoking. Liver, kidneys, and thyrod, spot on. Blod pressure spot on. I'm a perfectly heathly overweight, diet soda chugging, caffine junkie, that eats to much red meat!
Next item on the list - exercise. Wish me luck.
Thanks everyone!
Sorry to hear about your grandmother ... good to see you using the tools of the program the way they should be used, under circumstances like this ... proud of you ... keep your head in the clouds BUT your feet firmly planted on the ground ... Oh man, I know your grandma was watching you the whole time, and I know she's proud of you too ...
