MikeH said it well ... the fog has started to lift at this point ... our 'thinking' is improving and we have a clearer picture of 'life' ... one with alcohol 'in charge' and one with 'God' in charge ... the miracle occurs when we finally desire with all our hearts to be led through life with God 'in charge' ... things definitely work out much better for sure ...
I, for one, have really enjoyed your participation here ... you have been a joy to converse with ...
I'm looking forward to many more days of recovery here together with you and all the others here ... after all, we're family We can talk about certain things here we'd rather not mention to some ...
Love ya RubyT and God Bless you, Pappy
P.S. I forgot to say 'congrats' ... you are definitely an inspiration to me and others ... thanks so much!

Today marks 90 days for me. Thank you to all of you. These boards have been instrumental in my sobriety. I have found here eloquent words, telling it like it is, encouragement, support, tough love, humour, and incredible generosity of spirit. Thank you! Big hugs all around. I intend to keep coming back!
Well done Ruby, a major milestone there! When I hit 90 I couldn't believe it, I never thought I would last that long. But the miracle had started like it has with you, the fog has cleared a bit, and we are starting to get a glimpse of what sobriety is all about.
Congrats Ruby! What an awesome milestone! So proud of y/our success. God is good all the time and the worst day in sobriety will invariably be better than the best day drunk. Keep coming back and thank you so much for sharing your hope and strength.
