I got this in an email yesterday. It goes along with something I was told by my sponsor several years ago, that it's not that we aim to high and fail but that we aim to low and succeed and accept things as the best they will ever be.
"It must be born in mind, that the tragedy of life does not lie in not reaching your goal. No, the tragedy lies in not having a goal to reach for. It is not a calamity to die with your dreams unfulfilled, but it is a calamity not to dream. It is not a disaster to be unable to capture your ideals, but it is a disaster to have no ideals to capture. It is not a disgrace not to reach the stars, but it is a disgrace to have no stars to reach for. Not failure but low aim is sin. You must dream the impossible dream. You must dream the big dream, the crazy dream, the amazing dream cause God can take your dreams and turn them into unbelievable possibilities
I want you, before this day is over, to ask yourself, "If I only had a year to live and I could not fail at anything I attempt, what ten things would I go after?" Write it down and start to read it. You'll recapture those dreams. Folks, your dreams have poweribilities."

Great!! A person without dreams or goals is an inert individual. Let's try our best to not be inert........ Thanks for the suggestion and assignment......I'm sure looking at ten of my dreams will inspire something positive inside and outside of me!!
Writing down your "dreams" goals is immensely powerful, so much so that I have to be careful not to write down stuff that I'm just thinking about doing because I'll be doing in a month of two.
