I have like 14 eagles sitting on a tree in my back yard RIGHT NOW.
The sun has been shining for two days, and it's SOOOOOOOO bright compared to the many days in a row of gloomy, that I have to wear shades IN MY HOUSE! MY house is old and practically all windows. Why is this Awesome? Because I feel AWESOME when I am wearing shades. Just like the Diva I know I was meant to be LOLOLOL!
Soon it will be spring, and it will smell like mud outside. I love that smell. Everyone around will get "spring fever" and act super crazy and buy lots of campers. I sell campers. And I make enough money doing it so that I don't have to do much else but hang out with YOU pappy the rest of the year LOL.
I don't have to mow lawn for like 8 months out of the year : )
The messy yard? Oh - covered in snow, I'll deal with that in like 6 months. Looks perfectly how it's suppose to right now - white.
When it's icy and slushy out, people don't really stop all the way for stop signs because it's impossible half the time... so it's like "all rules are off" and my rebellious nature LOVES no rules! Or even just more leniency with stop signs lol.
ALso - most of the time the lines on the road are covered in snow, so you can just drive down paths and guess where you're suppose to park, and it's super super funny how people park all over the place when they can't see the lines. It's like you just drove up to a parking lot where children were the drivers, and I bust out laughing every time!

Pappy, I must say all that 'perfect' warm weather sounds a bit boring. I almost feel sorry for you. You miss out on the adventures of snow, ice, sub- zero wind temps... You poor thing! Why, just last night I was enjoying a brisk walk- the cold wind was quite 'invigorating', lost in thought (walking meditation) I slipped on a patch of black ice, lost my footing and landed flat on my butt! Wow, that's what I call fun!! Luckily, a carful of teenagers witnessed my graceful fall and loudly laughed at me as I picked up the contents of my purse, which was strewn about the sidewalk. Now, that I'm 'practicing these principled in all my affairs", I refrained from verbally responding in the manner I would have liked to. I thought a quick gesture of the hand would suffice. The joys of winter... I wouldn't trade it for anything!
Wo Col, I would not be able to get back up from something like that! I would be that "help I've fallen and can't get up" lady, to a bunch of teenagers LOLOLOL.

LOL Tasha, I must say the fall was graceful compared to the getting up.. Largely due to my super cool heeled boots. That's what I'm telling myself anyway hahaha. Man, these guys from down south are making my glass appear less than half full in terms of 'winter wonderland'
Sorry about your fall there Col ... but your adventures don't come nearly as close for me to want what you have compared to Tasha's ... LOL ... I really want what Dean has ... just so ya'll know!!!
Oh, Col ... ... ... whenever I've done something like that, the 1st thing I always do is to look up and see if anyone saw me ... then I think crap, well at least it gave someone else some entertainment ... (it gives a whole new meaning to the expression 'pain in the butt' doesn't it?)

Okay, I never look at the weather, but now you've made me, and when I had the courage to look, it was actually pretty nice! We're going to be all the way up to 41 tomorrow! That's insane for Jan. around here. 2nd year in a row with rain in Jan. Gotta love global warming ; )
