So today I can honestly say I have not had one cigerette in the past year, 1 year smoke free, and now 8 months sober! It can be done!!! As this day comes to an end I sit back and review all of 2012, it was rough. Losing my house in 2011, almost losing wife and kids, being so broke, I could not keep my power on, why you ask, because I was drowning my sorry ass I the bottle! After 8 months I am finally 100% comfortable with who I was and more so who I am now. I was tired of that lifestyle, daily blackouts, and the hiding from life. I am now OK to talk about it openly to spread the word, of soberity, of AA, of hopes and dreams. To all the new folks kicking around, please stick around, life is good, life is great just stick with it, work hard, pray harder, let people help you. Let us help you, let me help you, please join on the road to recovery, peace and joy. Thank you everyone!
