Tonight, as I was walking up the path to my apartment, I had this great feeling for self-worth. I like myself. I'm going to relish in this feeling for a while. : ) I feel like I am one step closer to being the person I've always longed to be.

I am a firm believer that the promises are living breathing and fluid things that occur as part of the program. They start happening as soon as we begin our journey. You sound like some of the promises are taking root.
Yes, I know that the ones typically read at meetings are 9th step promises and they probably wont all occur til then, but there are promises for each step and some of the 9th step ones happen in different increments before you do the 9th step I think.
