As recovering alcoholics, helping each other get over our past and putting the past to rest, doing the best we can today, being the best we can be today changes us into to the person we are meant to be.  being alcohol free is just the beginning... the best is yet to come.

And we have ceased fighting anything or anyone --
even alcohol.
For by this time sanity will have returned.
We will seldom be interested in liquor.
If tempted, we recoil from it as from a hot flame.
We react sanely and normally,
and we will find that this has happened automatically.
We will see that our new attitude toward liquor
has been given us without any thought or effort on our part.
It just comes! That is the miracle of it.

Thank you JJ!  Yes, from one Alcoholic to another.  Carrying the message of experience, strength and hope.  WE can do this.  I can not.  Looks like a quote from Step 10 of the BB.  Love The Steps.  A design for purposeful living.  smile
