Welcome to AA. Welcome to this forum.
Congrats on 23 days sober.
You have time to get a sponsor. Try to pick up, at one of your meetings, the pamphlet: "Questions and Answers On Sponsorship"
One very important aspect of the sponsor/sponsee relationship is for each person to have the appropriate expectations for the relationship. The pamphlet helps with that.
You can read it online in our Sponsorship Pamphlet thread:
Hi Mylita...welcome to MIP! That is great you have 23 days sober! I am glad that you are doing well in AA. It is a very good program and will bring you much happiness in the years to come! Keep coming to the board and let us know how you are doing! Good luck!
Aloha and welcome to the board Mylita. congradulations on the sober time and feelings of the program. It does help to appreciate and feel grateful for the good things the program brings into my life. Your name gave me a blink...I had a sister who passed away long ago who's name was Lita...short for Estelle. There was no "My" at the front of her name however just seeing it reminded me that 2 years ago on her birthday of 10/19 she paid me a visit in a vivid dream and I was clearly excited and grateful to get it. She was a living, loving woman and full of compassion.
Keep coming back and thanks for the share. (((hugs)))
