Congrats Chaya,
Some say getting 30 days can be more difficult than getting 30 years.
The difficult grind of the first weeks picking up tools along the way to help us become content in sobriety can be trying.
Watching new people recover makes this so rewarding for us all.

I am so incredibly grateful for this board and all of you. As a gift to myself for my first 30 days, I reached out to another woman from my meetings who has been asking me to call. I was feeling anxious and realized I hadn't talked to another alcoholic all day. I started crying right away and all that junk I was carrying around, causing me anxiety, melted away. Grateful for another day sober and certainly for this program. Today I believe I am good enough and I deserve this. Love, Chaya
(((((Chaya))))) isn't it amazing to finally realize that you were always good enough? Damn that feels sooo Great!! Pass that chip around at your meetings so that those who came before you can rub their spirit in with yours. That might not be a thing the program does up there...we do it habitually...new comers to old timers. Congradulations Sis...take the next step. Ponder the promises. In support ((((hugs))))
