Where are some of the 'strange' places , you have been to a meeting?

Spring-fed creek bed - a rally in NT , Aussie .

Chapel in a funeral home , it is now at an old dental surgery.

The 1st Baptist Church of Salt Lake City , right in the middle of the church .

Underground Opal mine , by candle light , at Lightning Ridge rally , in NSW , Aussie.

In a room in a casino. Was a super meeting, BTW, with folks of up to 40 years sobriety in there.

I've been to meetings on several cruise ships now. Also during Gay Days at Orlando which was like a giant circuit party with a ton of alcohol and drugs lasting 5 days, but they had 1 room at the host hotel where there were meetings running every hour.

Above Happy Charlies Bottle/liquor store in Marietta GA (close to where I live now) is a AA/NA clubhouse called the Freedom Club.

There was a group close to Cleveland called Firehouse Discussion.  It was a closed mens group held at a small Firestation right next to the big red truck inside.  The worst part was all the guys addressed each other as "firehouse Joe", Fred or Sam etc.  I don't mind being called an alcoholic,  just don't call me "firehouse Rob" LOLfurious
