Hi everyone!
Please give a warm thanks to Rob84 and Pinkchip for their willingness to provide their service on MIP's AA message board as moderators.
They will help us continue offering a safehaven to our board visitors seeking support and help via AA and the online community. They are responsible for making sure the boards primary theme is recovering from alcoholism using the 12 Step recovery program of Alcoholics Anonymous. They also help resolve issues that might arise between members that could threaten the unity and become a point of division among group members. They will monitor the board for the excessive use of profanity, spam, advertisements, links going to other related sites (there is a place on the board for them) so our members are not being solicited away from MIP.
In short, they will be providing this service for you and those still to find us. Please show your appreciation to them.
John

LMAO Dean .... ... ... ... I had an 'after thought' when I posted that, and I thought wow Roger, you should have thanked Dean for being around, what, ... forever ? ...
I appreciate your longevity and service to this board, I truly do ... Sorry for my 'implication' in the earlier post ... and I take it that you just gained some help and not leaving the 'moderator' box ... !!!
Love you Dean and God Bless, Pappy

didn't take it that way at all Pappy. Just having a little fun, and loving that we've got a little more help with the board. I'm sure you've noticed that I've been gone about 1 week out of every month since april working on my mountain home. It's been a big year and we're very close to the end. Just some trim next year a set of custom front doors. And 8 year project winding down. That's what's great about being sober and being as old as we are, time goes by quick. 8 years seemed like about 18 months lol.
Yep, I knew you were committed to a fair amount of time up there at the cabin ... looks like your 'timing' to finish is impeccable ... Is it in Tenn., N.C., or Ga. ... ??? I can't remember ... must be a gorgeous view and clean air ... you just need to work on your internet connection ... LOL ... OR NOT ... if you really want to get away from it all ... love the pics you post of it on occasion ... You're testing me out in the 'envy' department here ... (pg. 48 of the 12 & 12 for those of you who don't know ...)
I also knew you were teasing me ... glad we can both laugh in our recovery now ... It took me awhile to 'settle down' ... Humor is the 'Order of the Day' for me now ... but I gotta' watch it ... and you know what I mean ...
Thanks again StPete ...

Hey Dean, I just may take you up on that offer ... just make sure the 'outhouse' is heated, would ya (if it's one thing I can't stand, it's when your butt sticks to a frozen ... ... ... well, you get the picture ...) ... and I'm good for puttin' a log or two on the fire ... after that I have to nap ...
