Hi MsRose, Using this site is pretty basic, you just post and type, and theres usually new posts each day.  There are online meetings all over the web that you can google and meetings here on this site at tuesday and saturday.  If you arent able to attend meetings in your area you could contact the general AA office, you should be able to get theyre contact information of the AA main website and they might be able to help you as to how you can use the program in your area, a site Ive used online meetings at is AAonline.net, they do about 5 or 6 meetings a day that have roughly 45-70 people usually in each one, its easy to use, you just choose a screename and your there, if your unable to get to meetings in your area, AA has ways to get the program to you, if you contact them, you may have to write the AA general surgeon office, you can find that online pretty easy.  hope this helps.

You're doing it! LOL

There really isn't AA online that I know of, but this is a discussion board with mostly AA members. You can certainly ask questions or talk about how your feeling and get some feed back from some pretty wise long term sober people here. I do.

If you're having trouble driving to a meeting, you might try calling the hotline to see if anyone would be available to give you a lift. I know I am more than happy to help people get to meetings - and I know lots of people that can help in that way and are glad to do it.

If it's some other reason - maybe you could talk about it here, and get some suggestions on how to make something work for you so you can get the support you need. It's great you reached out - we're here to help if we can : )

Welcome to MIP

You can learn a lot here at MIP.  Here is a link to a list of AA meetings on skype.  I have not attened any, I guess you need a webcam.

Please report back if you attend some.  http://www.aa-intergroup.org/directory_venue.php?code=av
