Sorry man, ... The only experience I have with dentures is when Grandma used to leave them on the kitchen counter in a glass of cleaning solution ... that's back in the 50's when the old back&white TVs were airing Boris Karloff and Frankenstein and also Vampire clips ... those dentures like that gave me nightmares ... LOL ...
Hope that didn't make you feel old ... I have a younger friend, who I used to sponsor, that had to get dentures also ... he did fine with them ... (he was about 30 years old) ...
P.S. You checked out your post(thread) on 'The Shack' recently ???

My husband has them and it took time to adjust. Don't be afraid to go back to the dentist for adjustments but know there is a transition time where you might be a little sore. It is worth it though! Good for you for taking care of this! Hang in there. :)

So good to hear about your 37 days! Sad to hear about your mouth - hope you get squared away quickly. I've heard the adjustment is a bummer. Hang in there - you'll be sporting those flashy choppers in no time. Short term pain for long term gain. It will all be worth it!

Congratulations! Other than dealing with pain with non-addictive medication, the only other thing I can suggest is keeping stress lowered. Believe it or not, sitting still 3 times a day for 5 minutes with no distractions in a room by yourself, even bathroom, can diminish physical pain. Just sit still and breathe normally with arms hanging at sides, totally loose and relaxed.
