Thanks all, I needed every prayer. 20 something year old inspector called yesterday and said to have 4 contractors (school remodel) present at 9 am this morning to meet with him. So the 4 of us were there at 8:45 waiting. He calls at 9:30 and says he'd be right over after making one stop. He shows up at 12 noon, 3 hours late. We all needed to be elsewhere working. I managed to educate him about his miscomprehension of the building code
Mike, he said that my tone was "condescending" and "unprofessional". I asked him "how professional is it to be 3 hours late to a meeting that you called with 4 people?". Now they want 5 additional handrails on this set of stairs, that two steps high. It already has 7 handrails. I told the school that they could either fight it out with the Fire Marshal or absorb the cost. I done jousting with these people. They better hope they never need Me in an emergency

Oh great, just what this world really needs, another entitlement bearer with a badge. What about the code of behavior that he allegedly forgot? Time management etiquette I mean, jerk. What is this world coming too anyway?

I just love ineracting with younguns especially when the have a badge and some bucks and a govnm't desk. God they're soooo fun. ((((Dean)))) I also liked Tanin's adaptation.
