Hi all,good to be posting again and greatful that I found you all again in cyber world. :} But most of all truley greatful that I found you all in the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Great to have a program of living, a way of living and giving in my world today. And so happy to have found my higher power, God of my understanding who on seeing that I was beat lead me to where I belong and who has guided me giving me strength and trust in all my life today.:} His will for me I understand today and he will for me is what I want in my life today.

Not bad for someone who was hitting ''THE END'' ..

I now have a new freedom and a new happiness, Happy,content sober and sereen. Because I want this and work for this,I know what is good for me and its not my old ways its the ways of my loving God today :} His will not my will :} What a GREAT WAY OF LIVING :}

Prayer
^*^*^
"T
he man said, 'The thing I do is to say
"God here I am and here are all my troubles.
I've made a mess of things and can't do anything about it.
You take me and all my troubles,
and do anything you want with me." '
I return to bed.  It doesn't make sense. . .
I am in the bottom of hell.
And there a tremendous hope is born.
It might be true.
I tumble out of bed on my knees.
I know not what I say.
But slowly a great peace comes to me.
I feel lifted up.  I believe in God.
I crawl back into bed and sleep like a child."

1976AAWS, Alcoholics Anonymous, p. 504

Faith is not belief without proof;
it's trust without reservation.

Prayer for the Day

I pray that I may gladly leave my future in God's hands.
I pray that I may be confident that good things will happen,
as long as I am on the right path.

"...we aren't a glum lot. If newcomers could see no joy or fun
in our existence, they wouldn't want it. We absolutely insist on
enjoying life."

Alcoholics Anonymous, 4th Edition, The Family Afterward, pg. 132

And the old song from somewhere...Happy,happy,happy. Happy talk. Talk about things we like to do..If you dont have a dream,how you gona make a dream come true. :}..

Oh how I dreamed my days away wishing that I was sober..Today I make sure that I am. Thank you all with fondest and love.

Thanks Polly.  I love this " Faith is not belief without proof;
it's trust without reservation."  smile

I've learned in The Program that I have to believe to see and not see to believe.

We all have our intimate way of communicating with our HP. Mine is, has and always will be through FAITH! I don't remember when or why I started this habit, but I collect lost coins I find on the streets when I'm jogging or walking my dog, and save them in a glass container. I find these coins in the most obscure and oddest places. My favorites are the most worn out ones that have a history to them. The other night I went through my jar and started separating them by year just for fun. All of a sudden it hit me like a blinding "a-ha" thing (hard to explain in type)...something written on each of my cherished coins...IN GOD WE TRUST!

It made me smile!
