A new study by the National Institute of Consumption in Paris, and published in the French magazine 60 Million Consumers, found that trace amounts of alcohol can be found in popular soft drinks including Coca-Cola and Pepsi. The study found that 0.001 percent per liter of alcohol was found in 19 popular soft drink brands around the world while generic supermarket brands were alcohol free.  Coca-Cola has stated that they believe the trace amount comes from the secret process of how the drink is made. While the amount is negligible, it could potentially anger many people whose faith forbid them from drinking alcohol.  But before you go judging Coca-Cola, the Seattle Post Intelligencer appropriately points out that Coca-Colas web site is up front about alcohol levels in its products: Trace levels of alcohol can occur naturally in many foods and beverages. Governments and religious organizations have recognized that such minute levels are considered acceptable in nonalcoholic foods and beverages.

Wonder how many Pepsi's I'd have to drink to get a BUZZ ??? ... What? .001% per liter ... That'd take a lot of soda ... LOL ... I'd probably 'explode' 1st ... LOL

when I was bouncing in and out I was at a party, my GF at the time was major addict (13 yrs sober she is now!!!) and was trying to teach me how to drink "right". She said "You see i drink a drink, then I have a glass of water, then I have a drink, then I have a glass of water."

A few months ago I found myself alternating diet pepsi and water. And if i eat 2 of those mini reeses peanut butter cups I need to sit down for 10 minutes due to the rush.

Oh, yeah, I wrote 2010 on a check a few days ago. What next?
