I'm in the South Pacific..currently in Tahiti having sailed 5000 miles from Panama to here..Internet is very poor..very expensive..and cannot even remember the last time I made a meeting..Please let those who remember me at The Alano Club where I am..that I miss them and the meetings..
I'm sure it will eventually get back to my old friends at the Indian Rocks Beach group as well.. (Buddy M at the Sunday beach bunch is probably still around and in good health)..also Ron Cleeve no doubt (Tennis ron)....and if anyone wants to e mail me directly happy to hear from them..hope to sail next week to Bora Bora then on to Am. Samoa..could make it God willing to Australia this year ..before Cyclone season..but don't know..
I now have 38.5 years of unbroken sobriety since my first meeting..the crossing at times wasa difficulty 3500 miles without seeing another boat or land..butg God gives you what you can handle..At 69 not getting any younger..Any news from the Beaches would be appreciated if anyone ever remembers or cares..(LoL)
Hey MooMoo this was a message from Thomas, direct your greatings and congrats to him. He's sailing around the world at a leisurely pace, and just happens to be hang his hat in St. Pete and frequented the same meetings as I do. A "Homie" if you will.
