He says to me- you wanna take a ride? And I excitedly say yes-- I love superfluous driving. We pick a destination about an hour away. But after getting turned around twice, he's getting impatient. A few valid reasons... And a few invalid reasons. So we stop and I ask valero for directions. I come back with an answer and 45 minutes later, he's more agitated than he was before. This time, I sat quietly, shut my eyes and smelled the air, felt the wind in my toes (I hang my feet out the window) and the sun bringing the melanin to the surface of my skin. 30 minutes later he finally comes to the solution that I had an hour before. We use mickey ds wifi and ask a few locals, and about an hour later we arrive. The supposedly one hour trip took us 4 hours. And I loved most of the drive. We stayed for an hour and a half and decide to go back. This time it took us 3 hours and a text to dear ol' mom to arrive home. Those 3 hours I spent next to the stubborn, thick headed man that I love who knows noting about the area were traveling in but would rather stew in misery than ask me how to get home. But today, instead of letting his attitude effect mine, I took the quiet ride to feed my sensory input and connect with the universe. This--- for me--- is a new experience, a gift from this program. Thank you.

This is written, python may have a link to the video. After you read/watch it, you'll totally make room for chocolate. :)

Hi Ruhig,

Right to enjoy the journey and there will never be a destination!  Great story and loved the videos.

I know you also have to be grateful that gasoline is well under $3.60 a gallon...weeew
