Im standing on the middle of virginia and 3rd in down town reno. Charlie musslewhite blowing on his harp and some young kid with screeming guitar on stage with him lookin like damn I made it. A few thousnd people wandering around 6 blocks of beer and bbq stands.Im hard pressed to find anyone with out a plastic beer mug or two ( a few double fisted drinkers here ) or a plastic margarita glass. AA promise for me come true " we can go anywhere free men go ". caned heat comes on a little later. Its amazing, a coulpe thousand people here and most of them are not like me,t hey sip not guzzle. nothing like knowing your in the sunlite of the spirit and can do anything with out a drink. One funny observation though, a few thousnd people, 6 blocks lined with beer and bbq stands and no porta potties. I love being sober.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for sharing. The Blues and BBQ sounds like fun. Remembering what happened the next day sounds good also :))
