My bird story

So on my way home from work I stop at the golf range,  hit some balls, then stop to clean my clubs at the bucket of water w/ brushes inside.  The little bird in the picture stops a few feet from me.  I was amazed at how close he was,  I steped forward and stuck out my hand and he lightly pecked my fingernail.

I finished cleaning, he jumped in the water and took a quick bath and posed while I pulled out my camera/phone.

 He was totally willing to share his bird-bath with me, totally lacking in fear and totally present in the "now".

What a message from God,  for a few minutes I was totally present also....

What a great photo Rob. God sent you a little messenger, didn't he? I hope this little bird story has a happy ending as well, kind of like us. I'll stay in the solution Rob and you, well, just keep pecking away, okay. No pun intended. Thanks again for the story/picture. It's been a wonderful addition to my day.

You will never forget this event...promise.  I also have mine and they are also astounding.   "totally lacking in fear"  Rob what I have learned from my Higher Power is that you have just experienced what unconditional love is...the absence of fear.   Happy for you mate...pass it on.  (((((hugs))))) smile

Thanks Rob.  What a God moment sent your way.  Thank you for sharing it with us.   Birds, Wildlife, and Animals in general are such spiritual creatures.  The absence of fear!  Love it.  Isn't that what we're all after?    smile
