Just stop and hug before you start.

If and when, I can stop that argument, that leads to hurt feelings, that leads to a heavy foot and unattentiveness, that leads to a speeding ticket, that leads to anger and disappointment, that leads to blame, that leads to more guilt, that leads to apologies, that leads to that wondeful hug I should have stopped and started with in the beginning... I will be grateful.  But speeding ticket and all - I'm grateful for this sober day.  That I wasn't driving my kids around drunk.  That I'm here with them, in my living room, and not on my way to prison... not knowing when I will see them next.

Hi love,have been thinking of you . :}

Great post full of GRATITUDE. We all learn and it all takes us time..Every moment we change and as long as we change for the better its all GOOD.

Sometimes it may feel one step forward and two back ! But as long as we work our program to the best of our ability throughout our days we have a chance. A chance to make amends, a chance to be good people, a chance to learn to love ourselves and love others.

Without AA we have no chance at all. :{

Your home to kiss your children and husband goodnight, and try a little harder tomorrow I always say if I think I have not tried hard enough today. Bless you Tasha. XX

And very well done,keep it going :}

Nice gratitude Tasha. It's a great feeling, isn't it? To be sober despite our shortcomings. It has for me, and for that I'm grateful too. Thanks...
