Several days ago as I left a meeting at a hotel; I desperately gave
myself a personal TSA pat down.
I was looking for my keys. They were not in my pockets. A quick search
in the meeting room revealed nothing.

Suddenly I realized I must have left them in the car. Frantically, I
headed for the parking lot. My wife has scolded me many times for
leaving the keys in the ignition.

My theory is the ignition is the best place not to lose them. Her
theory is that the car will be stolen. As I burst through the door, I
came to a terrifying conclusion. Her theory was right. The parking lot
was empty.

I immediately called the police. I gave them my location, confessed
that I had left my keys in the car, and that it had been stolen.

Then I made the most difficult call of all, "Honey," I stammered; I
always call her "honey" in times like these.  "I left my keys in the
car, and it has been stolen."

There was a period of silence. I thought the call had been dropped,
but then I heard her voice.
"Idiot", she barked, "I dropped you off!"

Now it was my time to be silent. Embarrassed, I said, "Well, come and get me."

She retorted, "I will, as soon as I convince this policeman I have not
stolen your car."

Yep it's the golden years.  If you are not there yet, get ready, your
time is coming.

Ginko Blloba helps, when you can remember to take it.

Thanks Dean, think I must try it. I lost my son's car keys the other day and the spare keys were not programmed to start the car. I did not sleep the whole night trying to remember. The next day I said a little prayer. I said God you know everything and see everything. Help me find the keys. Within an hour I found them.
@ Roger: My wife refuses to drive me anywhere. It's my wife who leaves the key in the ignition. At 52 my brain cells are rather weak.

Hey Gonee, ... ... ... I drank so much in my past, I only have 2 brains cells left .... Yesterday I lost one, and today the other one ran off looking for the 1st one ...

Damn, I had a clever ending here .... ... ... ... Damn if I can't remember what it was ... .... ... .... .... HEY, I'm serious!!! ..... Oh yeah, Dean? ... Ginko Biloba??? ... yep, I've heard it helps, but I get to the store and all the time I'm shopping for groceries, I'm trying to remember the name of the stuff ... LOL, never have ... Once I get the 'Ice Cream' in my basket, all bets are off ... It's "Katie hold the door cause Roger's coming through" ...

gonee, I lose stuff all the time, pray and i find it in minutes. The crazy thing is that I look for a hour or two before I break down and ask for help from HP.

The funny thing is ... ... ... wait for it ... ... ... he sends the same ones about four or five times .... ... ... ... ... My big problem is keeping up with the ones I forwarded so I don't look like an idiot ... LOL

Soooo, I am sure the story is real, but No, That wasn't me describing the event above, although it could have been ...
